Together with Plan Rwanda, FIOM Rwanda is helping vulnerable people, including children and young people, to learn the skills they need to find work. This work includes supporting young people to gain professional qualifications and jobs in trades such as carpentry, tailoring and construction.
Many of these young people are orphans or have taken responsibility for their household at a very young age. FIOM Rwanda also helps these young people to organise themselves into associations and co‐operatives that will provide better income security for all members.
