FIOM Rwanda is a non-profit making,
non-governmental organisaton based in Kigali.

Since 2001 FIOM Rwanda has supported communities in the eastern province of Rwanda; giving them the opportunity to develop the skills and the knowledge they need to make a sustainable living.

FIOM Rwanda reaches out to the most vulnerable in society. Many are young and can see few options other than to follow their parents into subsistence farming. Many are women, which can still be a barrier to success in this developing country. Many others are affected by HIV/AIDS.

Through vocational training, FIOM Rwanda gives these people hope; opening doors and helping them to become self-sufficient and to gain the self-confidence they need to succeed.

Alongside vocational training opportunities, FIOM Rwanda also helps provide education in vital areas like family planning and HIV/AIDs prevention. Together these interventions help communities to be healthy, prosperous, and to make the future in their minds the reality of tomorrow

Intervention areas:

FIOM Rwanda works in a number of core development areas: health, safe water and basic sanitation, capacity building and economic development, environmental protection and good governance.
