With the help of the GEF Small Grants Programme, part of the Global Environment Facility and UN Development programme, FIOM Rwanda is working to popularise the use of solar ovens in the Ngoma and Kirehe districts of eastern Rwanda. These ovens are built locally and offer an environmentally friendly means of cooking in a rural setting.
This work also supports community‐based associations and co‐operatives formed of those affected by HIV/AIDS.
