Working with The Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, FIOM Rwanda is carrying out activities in the district of Nygatare, (eastern Province of Rwanda), which equip communities with the knowledge to fight the spread of HIV/AIDs and also give those affected by the disease the skills and tools they need to increase their income generating ability.
This work includes an information campaign in schools, public spaces and door‐to‐door, to raise awareness of HIV prevention measures, and the support of cooperatives through training and the supply of livestock.
